Adult Arts Workshops
Through engaging discussions and confident guidance I facilitate students in finding and expressing their true creative voice. Starting with skill development - drawing and painting with different mediums, collage and sculpture, and influenced by references to art history, world mythology and popular culture, students gain confidence and excitement at their growing artistic expertise. From absolute beginners to artists looking to broaden their scope, a class or workshop can be a life affirming endeavour.

children's arts Workshops
A certified OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) educator, I have taught art to children and youth in K-12 schools, camps, community centres and museums in Ontario, BC and Quebec. One of my most inspiring arts educational experiences was to have worked with Lincoln Centre Education in NYC during my time at teachers college. There the focus is on helping children "think like artists" and to develop 21st Century Skills, which are so important in an educational experience today. I believe the arts are a clear way to develop creativity, collaboration, communication and imagination. The director of The Knowlton Summer Art Camp for five years, I am a recipient of numerous arts grants from the Ontario Arts Council, ArtsSmarts and The Canada Council.
Intergernerational Arts workshops
While working with The Townshipper's Association in Quebec's Eastern Townships, I created numerous intergenerational arts workshops, combining mural painting, mandala making and music festivals which brought families together in creative celebration. As the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Tett Centre in Kingston, Ontario, I developed The Kids Creativity Club, a place for children and families to work side by side on artistic projects in a safe and supportive environment.
