Grow

GROW is a series of drawings that explores the intimate relationship between the human psyche and the living world. These works emerge from a place of listening to the body, the earth, and the unseen intelligence that moves through roots, breath, and becoming.

In this series, the human form is not separate from nature, but entwined with it. Bodies become landscapes. Roots become veins. Serpents, trees, eyes, hands, and hearts appear as symbols of transformation, protection, intuition, and rebirth. Growth here is not linear. It spirals, sheds, descends, and re-emerges.

GROW speaks to the slow, often hidden processes of healing and awakening. The way we root downward before we rise. The way the wild, instinctual self must be honoured for true growth to occur. These drawings hold the tension between vulnerability and strength, darkness and nourishment, containment and expansion.

This series is an invitation to remember our belonging to the natural world and to ourselves. To trust the organic timing of growth. To allow what is becoming within us to unfold in its own way, guided by the same intelligence that grows forests, sheds skins, and turns wounds into wisdom.
